The Countertenor Alejandro López Ramiro began his musical journey studying piano before discovering a passion for countertenor singing. He honed his skills with Prof. Flavio Ferri-Benedetti (2016-2019) and completed a Bachelor's in Renaissance and Baroque Singing under Prof. Roberta Invernizzi, graduating with honors from the 'Bruno Maderna' Conservatory in Cesena (Italy).He pursued a Master's degree in the same field with Prof. Monica Piccinini at the Conservatorio Evaristo Felice Dall'Abaco in Verona. During this time, he performed in several productions with notable musical directors, such as Michele Pasotti, among other, and as a soloist with groups like Kairos Vox, singing works by Handel and Vivaldi. He also completed a year-long Erasmus+ program at MUK in Vienna with Roberta Invernizzi, graduating with honors upon his return to Verona.Currently residing in Vienna, Alejandro is active with the Arnold Schoenberg Chor, Momentum Vocal Ensemble and the Rosauro Ensemble, which specializes in Renaissance and Baroque Italian and Spanish repertoire, blending theatrical expression with historically informed performance. He also takes private lessons with the soprano Ana Maria Labin while actively auditioning and participating in various European musical projects.
